Who are you?
My name is Isela Hamilton and I am an actor, writer and director from Glasgow, Scotland. I have been a working actor since 2017 and began directing my own work in 2019. I have put on my own original show's at the Websters Theatre in 2022 and am now really exited to be producing my own work for screen!
Why have I launched Hamilton Hernandez Films?
Hamilton Hernandez films was born out of the desire to create compelling and impactful films in both short and long form. I am extremely passionate about telling stories that are diverse and inclusive and put a spotlight on issues facing us as a society. I have a wide array and genre of upcoming productions and I truly cannot wait to tell those stories. As a mother and a woman of colour born and raised in Glasgow , I know how ostracising the industry can feel. I want to use this little platform to create a space for film whereby the people watching it feel seen. If I can do that - I'm happy!

No, we are currently only producing our own works.
I am an actor/working professional can I send my CV?
Yes! I am always on the lookout for new faces I haven't worked with before for my upcoming projects. However all of our productions for now are Scotland based and we are prioritising working with as many Scotland based actors and crew as possible.
